Visited the Polo lounge with a party of 20 for lunch. It's nicely decorated admist the scenic green hills of Saidpur Village. The place has a nice peaceful ambience, and has a sense of luxury with even their menus bound in a velvet cover.

The food was nice - specially the classic burger which was prepared just right.

The only downside, and a big one, was that with the seating being outdoors, there are a lot of flies around. Could have been the time of the day, or the time of the year, but it obviously is a huge inconvenience having to shoo flies away every so often!

Intermezzo opened recently in I-8 Markaz and has a wide variety of cuisines on offer. I tried the Pakistani cuisine here with a group of friends and liked the Mughlai Handi and the Seekh kabab a lot. The naan were hot and fresh.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, brightly lit, and has a peaceful ambience. The menu is moderately priced and probably a little cheaper compared to Habibi Restaurant that is right around the corner. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for something new in the I-8 area.

I stopped by Madina Copiers in the basement of Barkat Market for getting some printing and photocopying done quickly. They have printing, scanning, photocopying and document composing facilities, and their charges are lower compared to the other shops around them - something which really matters when you have to get a lot of copies or printing done.

An interesting point was that they advertise 'online-printing'. From their website it looks as if you can email them your documents, and they will print them and you can then pick those from them. However, I have yet to try that out.

I had heard a lot of great things about Pappasalllis and finally got to try it a couple of weeks ago. We had the pizza delivered and it wasn't as hot as I would have wanted. Other than that, the pizza was simply delicious. The quality of toppings and the cheese was amongst the best you can get in Islamabad.

After finally trying Pappasallis, I do realize what the fuss is all about. Looking forward to dining at the restaurant soon and trying the pizza fresh out of the oven!

If you are looking for great pizza, served or delivered quickly, and at price that won't dent the wallet much, this is the place for you.

For I-8, these guys deliver hot pizza within 25-30 minutes which is simply amazing! The pizzas are prepared fresh and the taste is very good. The quality of the toppings is also very good. I am sure I'll be ordering from here many times more!
