Makro came with a bang, but the hype has settled down to some extent.not everythign is available, like solution for contact lenses. also, if there is a 2 person family then buying in bulk is not a good idea, as you need storage space for the same. also, they do *not* have low prices, some may even be 2-3 rs more than the corner wali shop. its a good shopping experience- no doubt

Hi Ye Shoppers Out There Looking for a HYPER shopping experience! Well, MAKRO HABIB HYPER MARKET is your ultimate shopping destination then. MAKRO HABIB HYPER MARKET is the FIRST in a chain of HYPER Markets introduced in Karachi. Having seen, shopped and awed by Hyper Markets myself in Dubai by visiting Carrefour, Spinneyâs, Lamcy Plaza, Lulu, Union Cooperative, and Mega Shopping Centres such as Diera City Centre, IKEA at Dubai Festival City, Ibn Batuta Mall, Mall of Emirates, it came to me as a pleasant surprise that up to a certain extent, a sincere effort has been made to establish the concept of HYPER MARKETS in Pakistan. What makes a HYPERMARKET different from a SUPER MARKET, DEPARTMENTAL STORE or a SUPER STORE? The answers are many. Maybe it is the grand approach, the striking elevation, the exclusive Branding, Merchandising, the ample car parking lots, the huge captivating shopping spaces, the vast array of goods from around the world and from within the local country featuring leading brands? Maybe it is the attractive pricing and bonus offers that make you purchase in volumes instead of just one piece of chocolate, liter of packaged milk or say a can of Pepsi, instead you are lured into buying more for using it for longer periods. This is the novelty of a HYPER MARKET. The more you buy, the more you save! Another difference is the style, presentation, infrastructure, pricing, billing, cash payment counters, acceptance of all major credit cards, debit cards, the availability of everything from toothpaste to microwave ovens and wait! - you also have ample opportunities to entertain or refresh your kids with joyrides, games and of course that waiting tantalizing Pizza or Burger in that fabulous Restaurant, all weaved in artistically within the ambiance of the HYPER MARKET itself. I have visited MAKRO Habib Hyper Market on many occasions and found the experience very unique. For starters, how about purchasing an entire Living Room Set, all packed up in modules, and then taking it home and assembling it yourself! Try it, because I have done it all in Dubai, assembling an entire Living Room and an Office section in my Studio Apartment! The accompanying Do it Yourself Instructions make the effort worthwhile. So, next time, if you want to 'hyper-shop', you know where to defect to - MAKRO Habib in Karachi. Don't worry, there's ONE near you (SADDAR, S.I.T.E., STARGATE)! Good luck and great hyper shopping then! Best Regards, ABDUL GHAFOOR [email protected]
